Our experts are well-versed in joint instruction procedures and understand their duty to remain independent and objective to both parties. They're experienced in preparing joint reports, attending discussions with opposing experts, and producing statements of agreement and disagreement. They maintain strict neutrality whilst delivering robust, evidence-based opinions.

We understand court listings can be unpredictable. Our experts make every effort to accommodate rescheduled hearings wherever possible. We maintain clear communication about expert availability and will work with you and chambers to find alternative dates if necessary. For urgent matters, we can often arrange expedited availability checks within hours.

We work seamlessly with chambers' standard billing procedures. We can invoice chambers directly or instruct through solicitors as preferred. Payment terms are flexible – typically 30 days from invoice. For publicly funded work, we accept Legal Aid rates and are familiar with LAA procedures. Court attendance fees are agreed upfront and invoiced separately from report preparation.

As you would expect, our experts provide independent, objective opinions based on the evidence, regardless of which party instructs them. This is essential for CPR Part 35 compliance. If an opinion is unhelpful, you can discuss the reasoning with the expert and explore whether additional information might affect their conclusions. However, we cannot and will not pressure experts to change opinions to suit a case theory.
